William developed a passion for technology at an early age, earning his first certification in audio production while still in high school. This early exposure led him to pursue a career in computer and telecommunications engineering technology.

 

While attending college, William began working part-time for a local electrical company in East Hampton before transitioning into a full-time role as a lighting controls specialist at one of New York City’s leading AV firms, where he quickly advanced through the organization. In his final year of college, William founded WAVE Electronic Systems.

 

After earning his degree, William continued building WAVE’s client base while joining Lutron, one of the world’s premier residential lighting control manufacturers. As a Field Applications Engineer, he provided white-glove service to Lutron’s elite clientele, including lighting designers, interior designers, architects, and builders. His experience spans numerous high-profile residential and commercial projects throughout New York City.

 

William was also part of Lutron’s Core Design Team, collaborating on the development and review of residential systems such as HomeWorks QSX, RadioRA 3, and Sunnata standalone solutions. This combination of field expertise and product-level insight defines WAVE Electronic Systems’ elevated, detail-driven approach to technology integration.
